Hey Vince,

I just saw that Nightline spot on SpongeBob. I loved it, and it was great seeing you there.

Just wondering, does Stephen Hillenberg still show up to work? How often do you see him?

This monkey, though by conventional standards appears quite dapper, is in fact quite rudely giving the finger to whomever is off camera behind him...

Too true JW. There was a chimp at the San Diego zoo that would sit with her back to the crowd and alternately pretend to take pictures of the crowd with an imaginary camera and then turn her back and shoot them the rod.
This of course made them take twice as many pictures.

I've been reading your blog for quite some time, but I've never really commented on it, but for my first-ever comment, I would just like to say that you're an amazing cartoonist. Great job on SpongeBob and keeping that show fresh and funny for all these years that it's been on the air. All of these drawings have been a great inspiration for me (as I someday wanna work in animation. I've been working on my cartoon studies lately, and I've been learning a lot), and it proves that animation can still be really funny, inventive and just plain well drawn, even when a lot of the animation being produced today is incompetently done and poorly drawn (go check out Johnny Test or Total Drama Island just to see my point).

Hi, Vincent.

Just like Roberto, this is my first time commenting, too. How ironic! Anyhoo, I must say, Vincent... You do draw the best damn monkeys I've ever seen... Not to say your other artwork isn't fantastic lol. You are such a great artist with a fantastic inking-style. If I may ask, what kind of inks do you use?
