Practicing Drawing the Ladies

In about a thousand years I should be passable.

Ah, the ladies...why are they so easy to look at, but so hard to draw?

Your blog now warns me of "adult content" before I enter. Now I feel like a REAL man when I look at your doodles.

Yeah, it dawned on me that if my daughter was flipping through the web. It would be nice if she had some sort of warning that see might soon be staring up at a not too pleasant angle of some old mans twig and berries.
Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. It for the chillllldren.

Hey, thanks for the comment on my blog. I've been admiring your work for years, especially with Ren&Stimpy and Spongebob. I'm aspiring to do what you do hopefully in the next hundred years or so.
Oh and btw, love the lady poses!

So this is what you were drawing the other night. Nice!

Really nice. I like how you draw girls soft, with no sharp angles ( like Tinklebell ). This is one of the reasons why Sody Pop never did it for me. I don't need to see every bone, ankle, elbow or knee.

Keep being awesome!

Well the softness is I think, from copying poses from Little Annie Fanny. The Kurtzman/Elder drawings I'm referencing lean toward the softer edged, less rangy looking gals.

Margaret Kerry ( Tinklebell's inspiration ) has been the subject of some discussion at Eddie's blog.

And that combined with these great nudie cutie studies prompts a question in me gulliver: is anyone else as furious as I am about Tink's diet? If you look at how they "draw" her now, you'll notice that her hips, thighs and ass are gone.

Apparently, some angry dyke of a designer and her hairy girlfriend of an executive got together and in an attempt to make six year olds anorexic ( I have a personal story about that if anyone's interested ), took the most unique and, in my opinion, physically attractive elements to her design and traded them for generics.

When viewing this new 'Tinkerbell and Her Scissor-Legged Sisters' DVD, one gathers that since the 80's Tink has been alone in her clock house in Neverland puking into a thimble to get that oh-so-sexy Paris Hilton look. Apparently, she's unfamiliar with the lyrics to 'Baby Got Back'.

You can do side-bends or sit-ups, but please don't lose that butt!!

Too late!

I just realized I spent that whole rant refering to Tinkerbell as Tinklebell.

Oi to the muthafuggin' vei, homeboy.
