Because Kali needed a Blow by Blow of the Incident

I just realized I didn't mention what caused this little misadventure. I wasn't on a hill, or drunk, or showing off, or anything crazy. Well other than riding a beater bike. I was standing to pedal, trying to get in to work early enough to get some work done on the Mr.Gum pilot, just as I was starting to really put some speed on. At the top of my right leg pedal stroke, my bike chain Jumped from the sprocket. This threw my weight forward and to the right, putting me out ahead of the bike. Not a good place to be. You know the the rest.

On the fourth day, and old Amish man appeared in my side.

He hasn't started talking yet.

Day 8

Almost gone.

aaaaah! holy crap! just saw the photos below! ouch! monkey!

also: when i at some point become some real rich guy i might have to start up a publishing company and get you to make comics. it kinda needs to happen, i think.

also, what did you use to draw this? it looks kinda, what's the word, digitized or something. that, or you've got strange handwriting. or was that because of the bump to the unhemelted head?

SHIT! jumping chains sucks!!! i ride a fixed gear and i had a chain break on me once but i was on level ground and not going so fast, it still blew. i hope you recover soon.

and i'm glad you ride a bike!!!

i visited la and only half looked for animation work, it didn't look too bike friendly, but it's awesome seeing people who's work i really respect are riding, maybe i'll give it another shot out there!
