Sparked by an Albert Brooks Tweet

At the end of a long day of drawing, I had the debates on and was running a twitter window on the adjoining monitor. When I saw this quote slide by. I was compelled to illustrate it

And then to my surprise Albert retweeted it. Yay!
Oh and if you haven't read his book 2030 you should, it's a great read.

Dammit! The only decent (or even half decent) Republican candidates are probably Newt Gingrich (very intelligent for a Republican, obviously a huge factor in 90s US economy going up during Clinton administration) and Ron Paul (who never had a chance of winning anyway, but I've always had a soft spot for him). The other ones can eat a fat dick for their backwards thinking, fear mongering, and outright lying, especially Mitt Romney and Rick Perry, who I can't stand at all. That's exactly how I feel about the majority of them and this drawing says it all. Thanks, Vince! I wouldn't mind if either Obama or Gingrich won the election at this point, and that's coming from a left leaning Democrat.

Can't wait to vote this November. I sent in my registration forms in the mail just the other day. Bring it on Election 2012!

I meant Rick Santorum, but whatever. I'm going to see if I can find 2030 at the library. It sounds like a fascinating read.
