Sorry, but props to your friend, Vince. That was such a good episode, that I had to make time to watch it. Haven't seen a single episode since the Lice episode.... I love it when SP takes on different animation styles.
But as for this awesome drawing, it makes me a bit sad. See, cuz, ever since the eighties we've had pretty clear ideas as to what extra-terestrials look like ( or at least one genus or species of them ), taking the fun out of drawings like these.... hear me out.
When I was a kid I used to love any sci-fi illustrations of aliens, from E.T. to Marvin Martian and all inbetween, because I used to think, "Wow, they COULD look like that, huh?" Now, though, it seems they got it wrong.
That's a cool alien you got there. Did you ever do a comic book before? If you could draw that fast and tight I could imagine you doing independent comic books for a living where you don't have to worry about the man breathing down your neck. Your creations would buy you a mansion.
Are you a fan of works by Keiron Dwyer and Rick Remender?
Sean: Oh if only it would make a man wealthy I'd be right on that.
I did some comics way back when. Larry Hama was kind enough to let me draw on a couple of his titles Savage Sword of Conan & Savage Tales. I still like some of the Savage Tales stuff, but I wouldn't dig too deep trying to find the Conans. They're hard on my eyes.
I don't know those guys work. But I'm gonna go have a look at it right now.
Trevor you mean aliens have to look like Grays or Blues?
They shouldn't, I'm just saying I think it sucks that the feeling of wonder is kind of diminished by knowledge of said Blues and Greys.... but I don't think many know about the Reds...

Yowza!
If they had made the Captain Sternn segment in the "Heavy Metal" movie in this style, it would have been awesome instead of slightly terrible.
