Best Day Ever!

Hey They actually used the image. I'm happily stunned.

This was a piece done for the Marketing of an episode called "Best Day Ever".
Don't be confused when you see the episode. There is no submarine/bicycle in the episode.

I drew the rough sketch. Robert Ryan Cory did the masterful clean-up and filled in the interior of the submarine where I had left a couple nebulous pencil scratches.
It was Teal Wang that did the color, Peter Bennett applied some shading..

I wanna see that episode. It's based on this Spongebob soundtrack song Tom Kenny wrote for the movie soundtrack. Its like the Beachboys Meets The Monkees, but I think it could hvae benfited from "Ripped Pants" style human-style vocals rather than Tom just doing Spongebob's voice. Maybe a real human voice but with just TOUCH of Spongebob.

This pic is great! I like how Sandy is thankfully off-model for once, and how pic is split in two which gives it balance. This is a perfect example of framing and composition. Nice one, Vincent!

Nice poster.

My brother and I watched a good chunk of that 24-hour marathon. My cheeks started hurting from so much laughter.

SpongeBob is one of the very rare modern day cartoons that can really be called a "classic". You're truly blessed to be working on such a universally great program.
