Is that for an upcoming SpongeBob episode? If so, I can't wait to see that one. The dolphin looks really interesting.

Time for me to start watching that show again. I haven't seen it in a few weeks.

They are roughs for a character in a future show. We'll see which one gets picked, and what changes it goes through before airing.

Have to say I went for the top one.

I agree with the muppet comment. But I guess I think the shapes are more in proportion to each other.

The bottom one has a more interesting face, but the features are too small in relation to the scale of the rest of the shapes and patterns.

How would a different pattern on the hat look, like a smaller leopard print, and smaller beads?

Just an opinion...

And the winner is..... Dolphin.
It will be interesting to see him animated.

Yay! I love it when you guys experiment with these interesting character designs. A lot of times, it seems when a character is in development, a lot of cool, cartoony sketches and ideas for them are developed, like say classic Disney, but they get thrown out in favor of the less interesting and less cartoony stuff.

Glad the SpongeBob crew encourages cartoony stuff to make it onto the final cartoons themselves.

Hey man,

A few moons back you were kind enuff to leave an encouraging comment concerning a murky little pencil test I had posted.

Golly, it'd mean alot if you'd take a gander at a finished little vignette, or two, or three or four...
